I feel duty bound to follow up my cursory 'thank you' of last week a more permanent record of my gratitude for the excellent work which you did in reproofing Anvil house. After you left, I took full advantage of the scaffolding to perform a thorough inspection of the roof. I have to honestly admit that the craftsmanship is clearly there for all to see, from the way the natural slates lie neatly in perfect lines to the obvious attention to detail on the lead work. I'm so glad now that you insisted on the Spanish slate, as they look far more natural than the previous asbestos version and far more in keeping with a 100 year old cottage. As we were not present at the house for most of the time during the renovation work, the neighbours were naturally more attentive and they said afterwards how clean and tidy you had performed your work in such close confinement. If you require a reference or a full testimonial on your work or you want to bring future clients to see the roof at Anvil House or talk to me, then I will be most pleased to do so.

Once again thank you for coming on such a windy and very cold day.

We wanted to write this testimonial about our builders A B Rogers & Son. After having a house ruined by a chimney fire in March 2012 we were quite devastated. We rang around for quotes, some builders not replying for six weeks. Steve came and had a look and put our minds at ease telling us he would do his best to start the work quickly. He brought two good men and hid Father and away they went working as a good team. Most importantly they always tidied up before they'd go home at night. They had awful weather to work in but never a moan, they just put their wet weathers gear in and worked just the same. We cannot speak too highly of the firm, their workmanship is first class .
